Wrap Up and Thoughts About My 2013 Fake Journal

Well, once again I started a fake journal with a good idea and the intention to carry it through to the end.  And once again procrastination (my specialty), and underestimating the amount of time and frustration involved in finding suitable subjects and views on Google Maps, resulted in too many missed days.

I still think that "Guy" was a good idea, and a perfect character for a fake journal.   I really enjoyed doing the pages that I did finish.  As in my previous fake journals, I had fun injecting some humor into the text, and I think I succeeded.

I think for next year's fake journal (yes, I'm game to do this again!) I will try to stick to a subject that I can just sketch and write about without relying so much upon what I can find on the computer.

P.S.  Sorry Joan, I never did get Guy to settle down to sketching in Ireland.

*Editor's Note:  Sometimes Guy gets a little behind on his journal.  He must have been very busy last week.

It's that time again!  For the last two years I've participated in Roz Stendahl's International Fake Journal Month.  You can learn about Roz's project here:  www.officialinternationalfakejournalblog.blogspot.com

You can see my previous fake journals at: www.flatmickeyifjm.blogspot.com

In order to avoid starting a new blog every year, I will use this blog for this year's fake journal as well as all future fake journals.
